Do male Rose Breasted Cockatoos have different temperaments than female Rose Breasted Cockatoos?

Basically my question here is does behavior vary due to gender or more so due to treatment? I had my heart set on getting a female, but a cute little male has been dropped into my lap at an unbeatable price (They just want him to go to a good home...plus, the red female irises freak me out xD), and I was just wondering if one gender naturally has a better temperament than the other, or not =) Thank you so much!
